Do NOT Quench the Spirit! Do NOT Put Out the Spirit’s FIRE! Do NOT Scorn or Despise Prophecies!

1 Thessalonians 5:19-22 tells us this:

NASB—“Do not quench the Spirit, do not utterly reject prophecies, but examine everything; hold firmly to that which is good, abstain from every form of evil.”

TPT—”Never restrain or put out the fire of the Holy Spirit. And don’t be one who scorns prophecies, but be faithful to examine them by putting them to the test, and afterward hold tightly to what has proven to be right. Avoid every appearance of evil.“

AMPC/AMP—“Do not quench (suppress or subdue—or be unresponsive to) the [Holy] Spirit;
Do not spurn {scorn or reject} the gifts and utterances of the prophets [do not depreciate
prophetic revelations nor despise inspired instruction or exhortation or warning]. But test and prove all things [until you can recognize] what is good; [to that] hold fast. Abstain from evil [shrink from it and keep aloof from it] in whatever form or whatever kind it may be.“

I received this prophetic word while I was working around the house on 1/22/25. Interestingly enough, during the morning hours outside it was one the most frigid days on record here in North Carolina. Some meteorologists quoted the temperature outside as 7°, but my thermostat read 4° outside. And to boot, water had frozen up in the lines running
from our heating system overnight. So, we had lost heat during the night!

Advance Forward Through Breakthrough in 2025

Prophetic word from Apostle/Prophet Debra Pacheco

You may or may not have heard some of the prophecies for 2025—(or the Hebrew year of )—5785 coming forth from the prophets of God.  Many, many are positive and uplifting such as:  2025 will be a year of Shouts of GRACE GRACE!  It will be a year of windows of opportunity, the breath-wind of God—Holy Spirit becoming greater, stronger, more visible.  Greater revelations; A year of Light.  A year of Promise.  A year of Supernatural Alignment with God’s Plans being fulfilled in your life.  Acceleration—Sudden shifts and Open Doors.  A year of Apostolic Grace! 

There are also many warning words that are very much worth our strong consideration and prayer: such as, a season to hear and see clearly and watch, as it will be a year of Unparalleled Deception.  Prepare for a Storm.  The Church of Unbelievers arising. Ezekiel 38 Players in Position.  Wars and rumors of wars.  Increased natural disasters.

I believe the LORD has shown me that we are in a year—season of ADVANCING forward through Breakthrough. 

Advancing Forward through Breakthrough is to be a year of establishment and fulfillment (completion of things started months or years ago).  A year of experiencing more of the Fullness of God’s Plans!  A year of windows of opportunity from the LORD.

Decision or Indecision?

The Spirit of the LORD says, “My people suffer because of indecision and indecisiveness. These involve ‘doubt’. Many are in indecision and indecisiveness. If you are in indecision and indecisiveness, you are up and down, back and forth.

“When in indecision and indecisiveness, one cannot choose or make a choice—they are stationed in the middle.

“And if anyone longs to be wise, ask God for wisdom and he will give it! He won’t see your lack of wisdom as an opportunity to scold you over your failures, but he will overwhelm your failures with his generous grace. Just make sure you ask empowered by confident faith without doubting that you will receive. For the ambivalent person believes one minute and doubts the next. Being undecided makes you become like the rough seas driven and tossed by the wind. You’re up one minute and tossed down the next. When you are half-hearted and wavering, it leaves you unstable. Can you really expect to receive anything from the
LORD when you’re in that condition?”—James 1:5-8 TPT

“You cannot move forward in indecision and indecisiveness. These are related to fear. I have not given you a spirit of fear, but of POWER, love, and a sound mind! Have I not given you the power of GRACE?
