Emotional Ignorance and the Word – Part II

Associate Pastor Lucas brings the second part of his message on emotional ignorance and the Word. We must look at how the Word defines grace, mercy and love – not what our emotions lead us to believe. In doing so, we can appropriately address sin and direct one another toward righteousness.  If you have ever found yourself struggling with how to respond to or approach a friend, family member, or a brother/sister in Christ living in sin, this message will give you solid ground in the Word on which to stand.

Emotional Ignorance and the Word – Part I

As Associate Pastor Lucas states in his teaching, “There are many beliefs that we have been stained by, beliefs of the world that have led us into a place where we are emotionally ignorant, thinking we are spiritually relevant.”  The Scriptures tell us in 2 Timothy that the Word is there to teach, correct, reproof, train and equip Believers to be adequate for every good work. We must look at how the Word defines grace, mercy and love – not what our emotions lead us to believe. In doing so, we can appropriately address sin and direct one another toward righteousness!
