I was born and raised in Western Michigan. While I was raised in Michigan, my father was born and raised in Villa Rica, Georgia and my mother in Cedar Springs, Michigan. So, I joke that I never did learn how to talk right! I was not raised in a Christian home and my childhood was tumultuous at best. I did, however, have a very special influence in my life: a loving, praying and nosey grandmother—who was always keeping a spiritual eye me!
I was born-again to a new life in Jesus Christ in 1974—one year after I graduated and married my high school sweetheart, the late Rick Jack. (1973). I started almost immediately serving the LORD with Rick in ministry in 1975 in a little Free Methodist church where my grandmother attended.
In 1984 my service deepened and expanded to the LORD when we moved to Carrollton, Georgia through the LORD’s leading. It was there, in a Spirit-filled church that I received the Baptism in the Holy Spirit. It was my first real introduction to Holy Spirit. The LORD not only filled me with His Sprit, but began a long, critical, intensive, healing and deliverance in every area of my life. He began to peel back the layers of a damaged life through freedom restoration! This freedom ultimately revealed my true identity and the prophetic gift the LORD had given me. I was later anointed and appointed as a prophet through twelve different ministers of the Gospel over a period of about 10-years. This was in the 1980’s and 1990’s.
In the year 2000, the LORD called my late husband and I to start a church. Now, starting a church was not an unfamiliar feat for me as we had helped two other pastors in Georgia start churches. The apostolic was already in me and I seemed to instinctively thrive in this area. So, for us personally to start a church—it was just a matter of where? At the very same time, the LORD specifically and clearly directed us to Rhema Bible College to start a 4-year correspondence theology course. (By now I am 50 years old!) As we finished this part of the “Plan”, the LORD then directed us to move again. This time to North Carolina—a place called Leicester (of which we had never heard).
In 2005 we started New Beginnings Christian Fellowship & Ministries (NBCF) in none other than Leicester, North Carolina. The Lord positioned me as prophet while I simultaneously served the Lord in the Apostolic. The vision resulted in a ground-breaking ministry in the areas of intercessory prayer, prophetic, healing and deliverance and discipleship. Our youngest son, Lucas, and daughter-in-law, Brooke, became a solid and crucial part of the ministry as Pastors and then Sr. Pastors. NBCF remained active and thrived for 20 years, when the LORD instructed us to dissolve the church in 2025 in order to transition into greater outward ministries in this crucial Hour. But it was through that church that we are today ready and armed with the anointed Word of God and His Spirit.
Against everything that I thought and believed, in 2021 I became a widow after a marriage of almost 47 years.
However, in 2023 I unexpectantly met my current husband, Luis Pacheco—a bilingual Peruvian and former Airforce pilot in the Peruvian Airforce. Luis came to the United States in 1988 and met Jesus Christ. He has been in the States for 37+ years and has also been in full time ministry since then to the Latino community. Luis learned English and began to train for ministry as the LORD instructed him earning a Master of Theology, Master of Arts in Christian Counselling, and a Doctorate Degree of Family and Christian Psychology. He has been ordained in the Apostolic ministry since 2010.
Some years ago, Prophet Jane Hammond signed her book, The Deborah Company, to me: To Debra a “True Deborah”. I can believe and accept that now—in this important Hour.
Now, you will not find me on the front page of the “Christian Times” or preaching from a spotlight mega church world. In other words, I am NOT famous. Instead, I believe I have been quietly hidden for such a time as this; while being forcefully and humbly raised up by the ARM of the LORD—Who is Christ Jesus—the strong right ARM of the LORD!
After 50 years in ministry, I am passionate today with the prophetic mission and message that the LORD has put in me to enable Believers to find their true identity and destiny; experience healing and deliverance (freedom), and then release in them through the powerful message of the spoken prophetic word (often accompanied by word of knowledge and word of wisdom) that people are saved, healed, and delivered—liberated, forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead. It’s Harvest time and Christ is returning soon!
The vision Scripture Christ gave us 25 years ago still stands: “For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and in Christ you HAVE BEEN BROUGHT TO FULLNESS! (Colossians 2:9-10 NIV)
